Hi! I am Mr. Bartley and I teach PreCalculus and AP Calculus AB at Clay-Chalkville High School. I am so looking forward to watching my students learn calculus. I hope each of you have enjoyed your summer.
I graduated from high school at Monroe County High in Tompkinsville, KY back in 1992. I received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in mathematics from Western Kentucky University in 1997. I also received a Master of Arts Degree in mathematics in 2001. I have taught all levels of mathematics from fundamental math, consumer math, all the way to AP Calculus. I taught classes at Faulkner University for 4 years.
I live in Clay with my wife, Jenny-Lynn, and daughter, Addison Leigh. We have a dog named Sonny, cat named Ms. Kitty, and a frog named Froggie.
I want each of my students to work hard all year and learn all that is offered to you. A day spent without learning something new is a wasted day.
